The First 6 Rules of Composition 9/11

Line: This photo shows line because of the burned trees leading the eye up into the foggy sky. Line is  performed by capturing several lines in the surrounding area and make it have one focus point ( where the eye ends up on the screen)

Simplicity This photo shows simplicity because of the way the photographer zoomed in and manly only captured the two subjects. The technique is to capture you subject and a simple background, but the photographer wasn't very accurate and cut off the lady's head, but for the most part its pretty simple.
Balance:
This photo shows balance by allowing the viewer to see both sides of the city. The landscape is somewhat symmetrical making it balance out the city and the buildings. Balance is demonstrated by having two similar objects in size or value and putting them side by side to make it seem balanced.
Framing
This picture shows framing having the people on the street stand out by having borders of newspaper missing people around the area. Framing is done by having at lead two borders around the main focus point and making it stand out .
Avoiding Mergers
This is a picture of a merger because the man is having a flag shoved in his face. I believe this might be intentional merger since the photographer specifically captured this moment. Mergers are bad photographs that have things sticking awkwardly in the way of the picture or having people heads or bodies cut off from the picture.
Rule of Thirds
This picture shows rule of thirds because the main subject is directly on the line that proves its rule of thirds.Rule of thirds is done by having the main subject on the rule of thirds line and having a line that makes your eyes follow to the main subject.
